Early in the summer, while talking with the owner of Brookline Booksmith and her friend, the importance of trees came up. We decided it would be wonderful for the bookstore – which is filled with books we love that are made from trees – to have a way for patrons to give back to the environment. While searching for the right organization to partner with, I wrote the preliminary brief and created these images to convey the intention of the campaign. Trees planted where they're needed; in the inner city area of Mattapan, Boston.
