Last year the town of Brookline, MA invited artists to present the committee with mural ideas. These sketches and mockups are part of my extensive proposal for a series to adorn the town where I was born and raised.

Why an Enchanted Forest?

Because it'll be beautiful. The murals would accentuate the lush trees and flowers during the warm months. When the cold strips the town gray, they will provide the area with vibrant color.

Because it's about nature. We know that our future requires us to come together and restore our frayed relationship with the planet. Art has the power to emotionally fortify this important connection.

Because it's about imagination. The attention economy depends upon us constantly watching, clicking, and scrolling. I want to remind people that our imagination create our reality. Dragons are universal symbols and the perfect embodiment of imagination. I love bringing more inspiration to people's lives.

(As real as this looks, it's a mock up I made in Photoshop for the presentation)

Note: due to changes in paint, surfaces, and scale, differences from mockups to final mural artwork are to be expected.
